What starts as a glamorous voyage soon turns deadly when singer Ruby Lyrica collapses backstage after her performance in the Sky Bar. The ship’s doctor confirms she has been poisoned, and panic spreads when head security officer Jack Lock is found dead soon after. Inspector Puzzlewell steps in to investigate, focusing on the six people who remained in the Sky Bar during Ruby’s final performance. Each suspect carries secrets, grudges or hidden connections to Ruby or Jack, and each one has something to lose if the truth comes out. As the investigation unfolds, clues point to a larger scheme running through the ports visited by the Nordic Star, turning the voyage into a lively whodunnit filled with twists and colourful characters. When Lucy unexpectedly inherits the rundown Sol Luna Hotel in Tenerife, her wildly enthusiastic Events Coordinator, Robyn, persuades her to relaunch it as “The Most Haunted Hotel in Tenerife.” With Uncle Lurkin’s unsettling presence adding to the atmosphere, the hotel soon attracts a sceptical journalist, a lost hiker, and a middle‑aged couple pretending to be goths. At the same time, one nervous guest is frightened off entirely. As Lucy and Robyn scramble to fake hauntings and keep the illusion alive, chaos unfolds in this lively 50‑minute comedy full of laughs and charm.

The Missing Volcano​​ (Cast of 9)

 

In a quiet Spanish village, the Posa Art Gallery receives an anonymous donation. It appears to be yet another painting of Mount Teide, and receptionist Sofia hangs it on the wall without a second thought. Within hours, the gallery is in turmoil. The building owner arrives with an eviction notice, two detectives appear looking for Harry Posa who has mysteriously vanished, and the newly donated painting suddenly disappears. As the investigation unfolds, a colourful mix of suspects emerges, including the cleaning lady with a curious eye for art, the stern building owner, the chaplain from All Saints Church, volunteers from the English Library and even Harry’s wife Mari, who is hiding more than she admits. When world famous artist Rene Du Pont arrives from Paris claiming his priceless painting has been stolen, the case becomes urgent. A lively, character driven mystery full of secrets, surprises and plenty of comedy, where the final reveal brings the Posa Art Gallery to life and turns a day of chaos into a joyful celebration.​​​​​​

The Jolly Giant Theatre is facing an uncertain future. Membership is dwindling, funds are running low, and the company has no playwright to create its next production. Determined to keep the theatre alive, founder and president Gillian Bright seizes a glimmer of hope when she learns that The Players Trust may be willing to offer support.
The catch? An assessor will be arriving in just two days!
As the company scrambles to prepare, rehearsals descend into chaos. Lines are forgotten, props go missing, egos collide, and every attempt to showcase the group's talent seems destined to fail. When the assessor, Terry Playsward, arrives even earlier than expected, the theatre members are forced to present whatever they have managed to pull together.

Drama Sketch (10 mins Cast of 3) 

 

The Waiting Room is a reflective 10‑minute drama sketch set at Brunswick Railway Station in Maine, USA. A distressed woman named Grace Harper arrives after missing her train to Boston, and station master Walter tries to comfort her. Their quiet conversation reveals Grace’s regrets, her estranged daughter and her hope of making things right, yet subtle details suggest something unusual about her presence. Passing comments from other travellers hint at an old tragedy connected to the station, and when Walter steps away, Grace vanishes without a trace.
 

The sketch explores themes of connection, loss, and the echoes people leave behind. It is best suited to senior drama students or adult performers due to its emotional tone. Discussion questions might include: How do we cope with unresolved regret; what makes a moment meaningful; and how do places hold memories of the people who pass through them?
